Nutcracker Tea Experience—Christmas in July Sale!

Get ready . . . because it’s that time again! Clara and her friends are getting ready to welcome you all into the Land of the Sweets! On December 12th, Studio Laugh Love Leap will be putting on their third annual Nutcracker Tea Experience.
As a Christmas in July special, tickets are on sale for $20 a piece—full tables are on sale for $175. They go back to full price in August so get the discounted price while you can!
This event is the studio’s major fundraiser, and the money raised helps them sustain their mission to provide low-cost tuition, scholarships, safe flooring, quality teachers, costuming, and performance spaces for their students.
Artistic Director Isabella Kearney says that “the nutcracker tea experience is not only one of my favorite holiday traditions filled with joy, laughter, wonder, and a little bit of magic . . . but it also gives us as a studio the ability to support our dancers and families throughout the year. This fundraiser is the reason we have been able to provide over $5000 worth of scholarships for families needing support, decrease our costume fees by 50%, provide safe and protective dance spaces, and keep tuition some of the lowest in the city. We are so grateful to every attendee, volunteer, and sponsor who makes this incredible Nutcracker Experience possible.”

Both ticket money and Nutcracker Tea sponsorships are an incredible way to support the studio and help give dancers the best dance experience we can provide!
Not only are audience members excited about the upcoming tea, but dancers are feeling the energy and can’t wait to be a part of the magic again.
Makeup artist and snow corp dancer Sadie Bradstreet expresses, “Being a part of the Nutcracker Tea Experience is overwhelming in the sense that you’re constantly surrounded by wonder. From doing dancer's makeup to dancing on the stage myself, I can confidently say it’s unlike any other Nutcracker. Not only because of the joy of every single dancer both on stage and in the crowd, but because of the fact that you’re watching it, experiencing it and, most importantly, you get to be a part of it.”
This magic and wonder wouldn’t be possible without the parent and student volunteers who work to make this event what it is. While the dancers are making magical movements, we have so many helping hands who sew costumes, bake treats, and decorate. Our volunteers truly do make this Nutcracker Tea infinitely more spectacular!
We are so excited for another year of the Nutcracker Tea Experience, which always makes Christmas just a bit more magical. As the event draws closer and closer, we hope that dreams of sugarplum (fairies) will dance in your head! Can’t wait to see you there!
