Studio Laugh Love Leap Partnership

As a continuation of our support of sensory teaching and learning, the Hilliard Institute renewed our partnership with Studio Laugh Love Leap. Studio Laugh Love Leap is located in Nashville, Tennessee, offering high-quality dance classes for young people of all abilities and backgrounds who are looking for creative self-expression, exercise, and social opportunities through dance.

The studio is committed to their students and focused not only on high-quality dance training, but also what dance can provide for their students: from support for beginning students to providing a place for more seasoned students to continue practicing their craft. It is Studio Laugh Love Leap’s mission to provide the Nashville dance community with a comfortable, warm environment in which dancers are able to embrace the art of dance! The Hilliard Institute hosted fundraisers, showcases, and more for Studio LLL throughout the 2025–2026 dance season.

Son of a Preacher Man: Jesus People Tour and Revival

Dr. K. Mark Hilliard continued his tour throughout 2025. He was a part of two major events—a Jesus People Festival in Trufant, Michigan, in July and a Hippie Festival in Maggie Valley, North Carolina, in May.

His activities included meeting with over 1000 people about Jesus and the Bible, giving away over 700 Bibles, and speaking three times in the big revival tent at the Jesus People festival in Michigan, where 15 People were baptized!

This Is Advent: 25 Days of Reflection on Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love

In November 2025, Hilliard Press released a book for Advent.

This 25-day Scripture-rich devotional walks readers through thoughts on hope, peace, joy, and love. Each day starts with a poem (written by Jessa Rose) that leads into a reading (by Mark Hilliard or Mark-Aaron Hilliard). The authors’ wish is that their words (and ultimately His Word) help others pause and savor the season amidst the typical bustle of the holidays.

Hilliard Institute Intern

The Hilliard Institute added a writing intern to our crew in August 2025. Emilee Micah Butler is a homeschooler with The Academy Tutorial and a dancer with our partner studio, Studio LLL. She will be working with the Institute on blog entries and other writing needs throughout the 2025–26 school year.
